100 Words for 100 Days

21st of November. Seems like a good a day as any to get started on my own personal challenge.

100 words for a 100 days.

I want to endeavor to write at least 100 words a day for the next 100 days (with the exception of Christmas Day, because, well, it’s going to be an insane enough day as it is so why add more pressure to it?)

I’m setting myself this little challenge because it’s been so long since I actually sat down and wrote anything substantial for my next book that I’m just out of practice. But today is a new day, much as it is every day that the sun comes up.

Also a little accountability never hurt anyone.

I’ve had my week off after the wedding, had my first week back at work and now it’s time to get back into the swing of things. I have plans and goals and deadlines that I’m trying to achieve, so now is the time to get off my ass and actually do it. The irony is not lost on me that in order to get off my ass I do in fact need to sit on my ass because I am not a standing desk person.

So. I’m going to go and draw myself up a chart for the next hundred days and get to work. Wish me luck.

P.S. If anyone else is doing a challenge of their own please, feel free to share it in the comments section. We’re all in this together.
